Anya Macleod is an illustrator based in the Adelaide Hills, Australia.

She creates whimsical, atmospheric artwork inspired by nature, folklore and the quiet magic of everyday moments.

Originally from Russia, moving to Australia as a child has shaped her work, from woodland fairy tales, to the unique wildlife and beauty of the Australian bush.

She is particularly drawn to picture books, where she can bring narratives to life through light, mood and emotion.

When she’s not drawing, you’ll find her in the garden or exploring the countryside with her family.
